Minneapolis is in Minnesota, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Minneapolis follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The shop is amazing and so is the staff! I wandered in and was immediately helped by welcoming and knowledgeable staff! I left with one of my favorite flower arrangements I’ve ever had! Cannot recommend this shop more!!!!

I wandered in, hoping to find a pot for a plant. Lyn was super helpful, asking thoughtful questions, listening carefully and then suggesting ideas that I would’ve never considered. She went above and beyond with her creative thinking and eye for design. And clearly, I left with more than a new pot.

I approached Brown and Greene (along with many other local florists) with a long shot request to consider donating floral for the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery Gala. Lyn read through the Nursery’s mission and was quick to reply that she would like to not just provide a few arrangements, but ALL 31 of the table centerpieces, to ensure event profits went back to the nursery. She was super easy to work with for such a large event - showed up timely, brought a helping hand for set up if needed, etc. The floral pieces were stunning and unique (orchids, double blooming rose, hydrangeas, gold leaves), with so much thought and preparation put in. As part of the planning committee who got to take an arrangement home, I’m also impressed that it has lasted almost two weeks! I will be singing their praise for a long time and would highly recommend giving them your business!

This is a larger space than meets the eye initially. Once you walk in the charm is immediate but the back of the store has some good functional gifts like greeting cards as well. This is a fantastic spot for unique gifts, succulents, random topic books, some card games, and lovely decorations. Absolutely worth your time to stop by to peruse or find some gems. When we were there the staff were very pleasant!

I've been going here for 30+ years for my floral arrangements. This year my Winters Solstice arrangement was the best ever!!! I highly recommend Brown & Greene. The staff is excellent. The floral designers are truly artists. They keep within budget. They use fresh seasonal flowers which last a long time! You just provide your color scheme and they will amaze you with the design. You can even provide your own vase .
